Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka, President: Osamu Inoue, hereafter "our company") has developed and launched the new AC8115P grade, ideal for higher-efficiency and dry turning of steel, 新宿 アミューズメント カジノale as of September 2024.
In the production of machine components for the automotive and other industries, such as heavy electrical machinery, steel and construction machinery, there are growing demands for higher-efficiency and dry machining applications that not only extend the tool life of the cutting tools and reduce costs, but also reduce power consumption in order to bring about green transformation (GX). These types of machining require cutting tool wear resistance higher than conventional standards.
In response to these needs, our company has developed the new 新宿 アミューズメント カジノ grade, ideal for higher-efficiency and dry turning of steel. 新宿 アミューズメント カジノ exhibits excellent wear resistance in steel turning, extending tool life and reducing costs, as well as significantly contributing to the realization of GX.
1. Features
The use of our company's proprietary CVD* coating technology (AbsotechTM) has dramatically improved wear resistance through the combination of an alumina layer with further refined crystal orientation control technology and a new carbide substrate with excellent plastic deformation resistance. This enables longer tool life in high-efficiency and dry turning of steel.
2. Lineup
Insert: Total of 679 Cat. Nos.
3. Sales Plan
120 million JPY/year in the first year, 680 million JPY/year after 3 years
4. Prices
(Standard Product) CNMG120408N-GU 新宿 アミューズメント カジノ: 1,030 JPY (excluding tax)
*CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition):
A vacuum deposition method which uses a gas reaction to form a thin layer of coating. In this method, raw material gas containing the ingredients of the target coating is supplied to the heated substrate material within a reaction chamber, forming the coating through a chemical reaction in gas phase on the substrate surface.
