Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka, President: Osamu Inoue, hereafter "our company") has developed and launched the カジノ 勝ち やすい ゲームlder APM series GND type heads for grooving and cut-off for sale as of November 2024.

In machining of small parts where CNC autolathes with gang-type toolposts are widely used, there is an increasing need to reduce tool change time, which has a significant impact on productivity.

In response to these needs, our company launched the カジノ 勝ち やすい ゲームlder APM series, that utilises a polygon taper shaped coupling to achieve head indexing repeatability within 5μm, in May 2024. This significantly reduces tool change time and contributes to improved productivity. We currently offer a variety of heads including those for general external turning, back turning, grooving, cut-off and the lineup now includes the GND type for grooving and cut-off.

1. Features

(1) High repeatability
Polygon taper shaped coupling* and high-precision construction achieve head indexing repeatability within 5μm. (Individual insert variations not included)

(2) Diverse lineup
Available in shank sizes of 10x10mm/12x12mm/16x16mm, widths of cut of 2mm/3mm, and maximum cut-off diameter of ø32mm, suitable for cut-off applications on a variety of CNC autolathes. Just mount the head on an existing shank for use.

(3) High rigidity suppresses vibration during machining
Even in grooving and cut-off where the load on the tool is high, the vibration resistance and surface quality are equivalent to that of an integrated holder.

(4) Excellent chip evacuation realised with internal coolant supply
The internal coolant supply outlet on the rake face breaks chips into small pieces to improve chip evacuation.
